ROW WITH US

Central Connecticut Rowing (CCR) is a rowing club based in Middletown, Connecticut. The mission of CCR is to promote rowing and the growth of the rowing community within Middletown and throughout Connecticut.
We offer rowing programs on the beautiful Connecticut River originating from the Middletown John K. Smith Boathouse. The programs are administered through the Middletown Recreation & Community Services Department. We offer rowing programs for anyone aged 13 and up, from novice to experienced, recreational to competitive. Our program currently offers rowing in eight and four person rowing shells.

Are you a rower looking to stay active during our time off the water OR just interested in getting in shape? Join Central Connecticut Rowing's Zoom Fitness Classes! Each hour-long session will have a combination of stretching/yoga, body-weight exercises and cardio to keep you fit during the winter.

JOIN OUR TEAM

Our goal is to teach the beginner to row as well as improve and refine the experienced rower’s skills. Each session includes instruction from experienced coaches. We also offer the opportunity to train for fall regatta racing.
COXSWAINS WANTED!
We are looking for experienced coxswains, and we can also train anyone that may be interested in this position.

Central Connecticut Rowing (CCR) has received a $1,000.00 grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County to go toward the purchase of a quality used eight person rowing shell.
